‘‘For me, photography is all about moment and story which becomes the witness, apart from that I love to take pictures of animals. I believe it is very important to become a good human-being rather than attaining greatness as a photographer.”

“Coexistence” a project from Md. Enamul Kabir, a photographer based in Bangladesh. The strong bond between human and animal goes as far back as we remember. However, as human civilization thrives, the animal kingdom is forever changed. He began exploring the integration between human and animal in urban settings. “Animals have been an integral part of human lives. Sometimes, we notice something that never happened before or never became visible to our eyes but if someone can feel this co-existence by heart, one would not be surprised to see the newness; rather one will welcome this newness.” Kabir loves to work on a project basis rather that a single image, which goes splendidly with the message that comes out and build up his thesis even stronger.

His photos are vibrant and raw but not messy. His work is rather cohesive with fewer subjects in the image. Nevertheless, It’s the truth of the moment that us, humans, let it slips through, unnoticed; to emphasizes the coexistence of both worlds. “The creatures, elements and phenomena in the society began treating me as one of them. They unleashed their mysterious relationship of co-existence in front of my lens.”
